On-Call Copy and Mail Services Assistant Location La Crosse, WI :

Are you looking for a flexible, on-call role where you can make an impact on campus operations? We have an exciting opportunity for an On-Call Copy and Mail Services Assistant to join our team. In this position, you'll provide crucial support when staff levels require coverage, ensuring the smooth operation of both our Copy Center and Mailroom services.

The role offers weekday hours, typically from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. While hours will generally not exceed six weeks per year, this position provides a great opportunity to contribute to the University's operations in a dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will include producing instructional and marketing materials in our Copy Center and assisting with mail and package intake and delivery. If you're organized, dependable, and ready to support the campus community, we'd love to have you on board!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and printing/copying of instructional or promotional materials for all University offices.

• Review and printing of small to poster size graphs, reports, poster presentations and power point work.

• Laminating and mounting, on foam core or cardboard graphics for presentations.

• Binding of printed materials in booklet form.

• Reporting of equipment service incidents and supplies inventory to the Copy & Center Coordinator.

• Internally billing of the appropriate department or person for work performed in this department.

• Mail services support - sorting and distribution of mail and packages, metering and postage services, coordination with USPS, UPS, FedEx dropoff and pickups.

• Carry out other responsibilities as delegated or assigned.

General Requirements/Qualifications:

• Associates Degree preferred. High school diploma required.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and customer service skills.

• Self-motivated and deadline-oriented. Candidate must be flexible and able to juggle several projects at once.

• Experience and proven competency with computer systems and software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to work with mechanical equipment is required.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs is required

• Ability to stand, sit, bend at the back or knees to work on copy center production equipment is required

• Experience with production copy and mailroom postage equipment a plus.
