Job Description



AECOM is seeking a Landscape Designer based in Los Angeles, CA.

This position is expected to begin in July 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Play an active role in the design process from concept through construction
  • Assist in the preparation of design graphics and technical drawings
  • Collaborate with project team members across disciplines
  • Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture or Landscape Architecture design from an accredited program.

Preferred

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of professional Landscape Architecture experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to proactively solve challenges
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D)
  • Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • A commitment to design excellence and a passion for building a better world.
  • Actively pursuing licensure
  • LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials
  • Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities
  • Experience preparing construction documents
  • Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS)
  • Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
