Job Description

The facilities manager will be responsible for maintaining the church building in a good working physical order, providing a welcoming atmosphere.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:

• Ability to do general maintenance such as replace filters, repair sprinkler systems, repair toilets, etc.  
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, etc. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe physical plant environment on church property and serve on Safety Committee.
• Maintain working knowledge of all physical plant systems (i.e. A/C, electrical, plumbing, water park, zoo, stables, sewer plant, Stillwaters Lodge), etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Communicate with the Board regarding needs and costs.
• Open and close buildings as needed for programs by the church or for rentals.
• Update sign for the church to reflect the days the facilities are used by the tenants.
