Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Tustin, California. This contract position involves managing vendor work orders, creating purchase orders as needed, and ensuring the smooth coordination of maintenance repairs for occupied properties. Responsibilities: - Manage vendor work orders, including assignment and monitoring progress until completion. - Communicate effectively with residents to provide updates on work order status and resolve any concerns. - Review and approve vendor bids within designated approval thresholds, ensuring compliance with company guidelines. - Escalate vendor concerns or complex bids to supervisors for further evaluation and decision-making. - Create, manage, and close purchase orders as required for various markets. - Collaborate with field offices to address and resolve vendor-related maintenance issues for occupied homes. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for all work orders, bids, and purchase orders. - Provide ongoing support and follow-up with vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent is required. - Prior experience in customer service, with a focus on problem-solving and multitasking. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. - Proficiency in typing and computer systems, including CRM and management software. - Familiarity with property management software, such as Yardi, is highly preferred. - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. - Experience in maintenance coordination or a related field is a plus. - Physical ability to sit, talk, and hear frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
